What is happening at the farm?

We harvested all the garlic! All 20k of them. We had the whole team out in the field pulling garlic stocks and cleaning off the soil before setting them to dry out and cure for a few weeks.

This week was also our first harvest of field cucumbers, a personal favourite!

And the never-ending tasks of harvesting and weeding the fields so our crops can have enough space and sun to thrive.

Announcing volunteer day!

Join us on Fridays for volunteer day ! We will be weeding and harvesting and doing other tasks together on Fridays. Start time is 8:30AM. Lunch at 12PM and restart at 12:45PM. Shifts can be as little as 2 hours but the start time needs to be 8:30AM or 12:45PM. We pay in veggies !

Come pick your own flowers and learn the basics of ikebana (Japanese flower arrangement) with Christiane Ryan, Sogetsu ikebana teacher

We had such a lovely evening with you all last Saturday for our outdoor farm concert with Kate Weekes and Allysann Mei!

Yoga at the farm is back August 5th! It will actually be at 11h30 rather than 10h on August 5th.

Farm store and what is available this week

Raspberries!! Currants!! Come pick your own or buy from the farmstore!

Fresh Garlic, garlic scapes, beets, kohlrabi, tomatoes, cherry tomatoes, eggplant, zucchini, field cucumber, mint, dill, flat parsley, curly parsley, cilantro, basil, Napa cabbage, caraflex cabbage, field beans, kohlrabi, kale, chard, peas! Lots of mixed flower bouquets!

And u-pick flowers of course!

There are over 450 varieties of garlic!
