What is happening at the farm?


Still weeding, planting and harvesting away every day! Also how is it July 20th already?! Time to soak up all the summer activities and pick all the bouquets we can! Come on over during our farm store hours to harvest your own bouquets in our U-pick flower field!

This week we planted more lettuce, chard and scallions. We weeded our beet field and harvested Napa cabbage and field beans for the first time this year!

Don't forget our farm concert with Kate Weekes is this Saturday July 22nd!! Allysann Mei Foehring is opening the evening with her amazing musical talented. Join us at 5PM for some fun and music at the farm! Rain or shine!

Announcing volunteer day!

Join us on Fridays for volunteer day ! We will be weeding and harvesting garlic starting next Friday. Start time is 8:30AM. Lunch at 12PM and restart at 12:45PM. Shifts can be as little as 2 hours but the start time needs to be 8:30AM or 12:45PM. We pay in veggies !

Leeks in need of some weeding and TLC for our volunteer day!

Pick your Own Flowers and Ikebana Workshop

Come pick your own flowers and learn the basics of ikebana (Japanese flower arrangement) with Christiane Ryan, Sogetsu ikebana teacher

Farm store and what is available this week


Raspberries!! Currants!! While quantities last...


Beets, kohlrabi, tomatoes, cherry tomatoes, eggplant, zucchini, cucumber, radish, mint, dill, flat parsley, curly parsley, cilantro, basil, Thaï basil, Boston lettuce, Romaine, Napa cabbage, field beans, kale, chard, , peas! Lots of mixed flower bouquets!


And u-pick flowers of course!


The new delivery of organic ice cream and Happy Pops has arrived! I can't get enough of the passionfruit popsicles personally. The pineapple coconut ones taste like a pina coladas and are my second favourites. We have three flavours as singles for you to enjoy while touring the farm so don't hesitate to just come and hangout ! We love sharing this beautiful space with you all.


Weekly farm fun fact!

Most annual flowers will be encouraged to produce more flowers if you pick them. Same for beans and peas. So pick the fruits and flowers for a longer lasting harvest season!
