What is happening at the farm?
What a wonderful turnout to our Peony Festival last Saturday! We are blown away by all your support, enthusiasm and love for community oriented agriculture, and for peonies of course! We had a blast and we hope you did too! U-Pick peonies are still on for two more weeks and you can continue to purchase some gorgeous bouquets in our farmstore.

CSA
In other news, we kicked off our first week of summer CSA! A big thank you for all our wonderful members. We love growing food for you and value offering high quality vegetables and service. Please do not hesitate to reach out by email, phone, Facebook, instagram or in person at our farm store if there is any way we can make this experience more joyful and enjoyable for you. We will provide a survey in the next week as a convenient way for you to offer feedback and to let us know your thoughts regarding the new system we are using to offer more choices.

We are very excited and proud to be able to offer tomatoes for our first week of CSA! Our greenhouses are electric which means a lower carbon footprint, though it still takes a whole lot of time, labour and resources to get them prepared so we can offer tomatoes this early in the season. We would love for you to let us (and your friends) know how you feel about local organic tomatoes in June!
If you have a minute, please leave us a review on Google or Facebook and let your friends know about our program. One aspect of organic farming that I love is connecting with other farmers. Unfortunately, an overall challenge that we seem to all be facing the last couple years is filling up our CSA program so if you love CSA as much as we do, let your friends know about why you joined a CSA! We are so incredibly moved by all your support. Thank you for making this work so rewarding!
We also had our first market at Red Apron in Ottawa! You can find our vegetables, flowers and more on Wednesdays from 4:30PM-6:30PM at Red Apron located at 410 Gladstone Ave in Ottawa.

And don't forget to join our CSA Facebook group where we share recipes and connect over our love for fresh seasonal vegetables.
